Chicken plate with Bayberry Beer Hall

Bayberry Beer Hall contributes to Providence’s incredibly rich food scene. At first glance, the capital of Rode Island doesn’t exude glamor. Aside from the downtown with its capitol and a few charming boutiques, drab and tumbledown buildings prevail. However, this prosaic appearance hides countless coffee shops, bars, breweries, restaurants, etc.. Amidst this food haven, I opted for Bayberry Beer Hall to enjoy a Sunday brunch.

Bayberry Beer Hall offers a wide range of beers on tap. Additionally, the quality of the food easily matches that of their beverages. In fact, the tiny kitchen, adjacent to the sitting area, runs very smoothly and efficiently. The limited staff swiftly pounds out high-quality and well-presented dishes. For instance, the Chicken Biscuit Sandwich, incorporating the use of kimchi exhibited plenty of contrasting flavors that blended nicely with each other. As for The Burger, the minimalist, yet original, execution was centered around the incredibly flavorful patty, based on a mixture of beef, mushrooms, Supreme sauce, cheddar, and greens. In an era where burgers are getting harder to grab due to an endless juxtaposition of ingredients, this delightful return to simplicity paid dividends.

In brief, Bayberry Beer Hall is an ideal spot to enjoy refined food and drinks in a laid-back and modern atmosphere. It undeniably contributes to the unparalleled vibrancy of Providence and its culinary wealth. In the tiny space that serves as a kitchen, the staff runs a tight ship as every meal is quickly prepared and highly enjoyable. I’d argue that the quality of the food and service even surpasses that of many bigger, more expensive, and more hyped restaurants. Lastly, the menu undergoes seasonal changes.
