Le d\u00e9cor int\u00e9rieur, typique \u00e0 la Nouvelle Angleterre, constitu\u00e9 de briques et de bois, \u00e9voque un c\u00f4t\u00e9 universitaire patricien m\u00eal\u00e9 \u00e0 une touche de modernit\u00e9. Ce choix stylistique se pr\u00eaterait \u00e0 une salle de classe d\u2019Harvard. Quant \u00e0 la carte, elle offre de plats all\u00e9chants classiques dot\u00e9s d\u2019un interpr\u00e9tation moderne et peu conventionnelle. Ainsi, le choix se fit difficile.<\/p><p>Le festin d\u00e9butait avec le Tuna Tartare. Ce dernier, en d\u00e9pit de sa pr\u00e9paration soign\u00e9e, disparu en quelques bouch\u00e9es. Les p\u00e2tes carbonara, dont la consistance \u00e9paisse me rappelait celle d\u2019un risotto, s\u2019av\u00e9raient plus rassasiantes mais assez sal\u00e9es. Le bacon en soi procurait d\u00e9j\u00e0 la touche de sel n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 l\u2019assaisonnement. Malheureusement, ces libert\u00e9s culinaires n\u2019enrichissaient gu\u00e8re la recette originale et la d\u00e9naturaient presque, d\u2019o\u00f9 mon avis mitig\u00e9. Cependant, par la suite, les pancakes au ma\u00efs doux baignant dans leur coulis de fruits rouges rehaussaient l\u2019ensemble du repas. M\u00eame si, dans l\u2019ensemble, certains de ces mets laissent quelque peu \u00e0 d\u00e9sirer, leur d\u00e9licieux pancakes au ma\u00efs s\u2019av\u00e8rent incontournables. J\u2019esp\u00e8re juste que le reste de leur carte comprend d\u2019autres cr\u00e9ations tout aussi exquises.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Nonetheless, the delightful sweetcorn pancakes still grant Alden &amp; Harlow a spot in this blog.
